How StagingBench makes money

Privacy note
What we store. If you sign up for the newsletter we store your email address, the role you picked (“I am a…”), the page you signed up on, the times you signed up, confirmed or unsubscribed (UTC), and a one-way hash of your IP address (salted SHA-256; we don't store the IP itself). The hash is only used to stop abuse such as mass signups. Your status (pending, confirmed or unsubscribed) and a random token for the confirm and unsubscribe links are stored with it.
Where. In a file on our own web hosting in the EU (Germany), outside the public website. The confirmation email is sent from our own mail server on the same hosting. We don't use a third-party newsletter service, tracking pixels or analytics for this, and we never sell or share your data with vendors or sponsors.
Why. Only to send you the monthly StagingBench results you asked for (your consent). We use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email. If you don't confirm, your signup is deleted after 30 days.
Unsubscribe or delete. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. To have your record deleted completely, or to ask what we store about you, email contact@stagingbench.org.
